[this is a transmission, not my personal writings]
How to blend heart and mind? For in this world you need mind, to manage and deal with day-to-day, year-to-year, life-to-life planning. But you also need heart, to ensure your life aligns with your deeper meaning and purpose, with global needs, with the evolutionary push to evolve consciousness of heart.
Mind works with division and analysis, breaking things down until the answer is yes or no; categorising, determining value, finding a place in the conscious constructs that make sense, from a mind point of view.
Heart works with flow, and resonance. Is there flow, or no flow? Is there resonance, or no resonance?
Analysis is not required, or is it?
Here is where heart and mind can work together. In complex life issues, analysis and evaluation are useful, to discern and discriminate what truly are the deeper aspects of the issue at hand that need consideration. But then you make the major decision of yes or no with the heart. Once you have distilled to the essence of the question, in your heart you can get answers.
If you take a complex issue to your heart, you may not find clarity. The energy will benefit your conscious ponderings, but the heart works with the simple attributes of flow or no-flow, resonance or no resonance, so do not ask your heart the multifaceted questions of life’s challenges.
In your mind, however, the capacity to break down and categorise complexity is its strength – but decision-making in alignment with heart and soul is not. You cannot rely on mind to help you follow your heart’s path, for ultimately, like all tools of analysis, it is not structured by soul values.
You may impose a values framework upon the workings of the mind, but here we run into the interaction of mind and feelings. Feelings are what drive the presence of a values framework, but under pressure, feelings can be exaggerated, or subjugated, and clarity lost. It depends upon your individual makeup, but in general, feelings are very hard to rely upon to hold a consistency of values, for not only are they impacted by your own personal pressures and challenges, they are greatly affected by the emotional status of those around you, your nation, the world.
For feelings are present as a labile, moving energy that easily join with other, similar feelings. For most people, feelings are magnified when in the milieu of other people with similar emotions – and the magnification is a very compelling attractant for most human consciousness. It feels great to be with like-minded people who share the same passion; that is why we gather in groups and clubs, and celebrate in families and causes. Even if the feelings are of anger and outrage, it feels better when they are shared and actioned in a group: a great vehicle for confronting tyranny, yet also the means by which tyrannical acts can come about.
But, this is the strength of consciousness we have in the human race, and leadership is called upon to nurture the amassed feelings of races, nations, religions and causes, to align with a higher purpose.
Here, the heart must be brought into the consciousness, for the heart is the ultimate source of a values framework and can never be unaligned with soul, light, love, evolution and the great plan for all life. Never.
So to your heart you must go, to influence mind, to educate and purify feelings, so that you can use these great gifts of conscious existence in this world of matter, yet within the loving guidance that ensures there is balance, harmony, and loving kindness within.
Use your mind to evaluate. But for life’s decisions, use your heart to decide when the issue at hand is clear.
If it is not clear, use your heart to ask, and seek the ever-loving flow that will guide you to perceive your next steps.
Use your feelings to uphold enlightened values, and listen to your personal discomfort if your choices of mind, or your life’s circumstances bring that. Are your feelings warning you of something outside your flow of light, or are they reflecting past pain of your own experiences? Determine the source and how to act upon them, through your heart.
Enlightened feelings to warn and nudge your consciousness are your saviour in this complex, often muddied world. But always hold them up in the light of your heart to ensure they resonate with your highest good.
Here, then, you begin to build more and more interaction in your personal consciousness, with your deep, inner wisdom of soul and heart, and become a greater being of that loving light, able to act with soul intention in this world.
